In case you have not heard, Cancer Face died over the weekend.
I was out of town and I got a text from Moose letting me know early Sunday morning. I was really bummed out. I was not surprised because the last time we spoke to him he didn't sound too good. His wife said he was in so much pain, that she had to call 911 to get him to the hospital. No one needs to live like that. Still, it is sad to see him go and I wish his wife and daughter the best.
We were planning our 2nd Cowhead Show Poker Tournament on December 9th at Lucky's Card Room in Tampa. We have turned that into a celebrity tournament with an auction and raffle to help raise some money for Cancer Face's Family. I will have all the details when we get back on Monday. I know Christmas is coming adn money is tight for everyone...but a couple of bucks for Cancer Face's daughter and wife could really go a long way.....and you get to play poker and win some $$ and I am throwing some cool autographed stuff from the esteemed Cowhead Collection in the mix !!
Enjoy your Thanksgiving...keep Cancer Face and his family in your prayers....and let me know if Moose screwed up the Best of Cowhead Shows...cause I am sleeping till noon !
