How about that?? In case you were under a rock...starting Jan7th The Cowhead Show will be moving to afternoons on 102.5 The Bone. We are making way for the return of Bubba the Love Sponge to Tampa radio. He will begin Jan 8th at 6am. I keep saying on the air how excited I am by the change...and yet everyone keeps asking me off the air "hey man..you really cool with this"...even Bubba. The answer is YES! This is a shitty business when it comes to change. Everytime this happened in the past I got screwed. Cox has given me the opportunity to to co anchor what will be the strongest station in Tampa. Most places would have said.."hey thanks...but we are moving on".
Bubba, Spice and Ned will be on the show tomorrow morning with us. It will be like the Yankees and Red Sox playing on the same team.
I am happy to be able to sleep until a normal hour for the first time in 10 years and happy to be able to get drunk on a weeknight.
