How about that?? In case you were under a rock...starting Jan7th The Cowhead Show will be moving to afternoons on 102.5 The Bone. We are making way for the return of Bubba the Love Sponge to Tampa radio. He will begin Jan 8th at 6am. I keep saying on the air how excited I am by the change...and yet everyone keeps asking me off the air "hey man..you really cool with this"...even Bubba. The answer is YES! This is a shitty business when it comes to change. Everytime this happened in the past I got screwed. Cox has given me the opportunity to to co anchor what will be the strongest station in Tampa. Most places would have said.."hey thanks...but we are moving on".
Bubba, Spice and Ned will be on the show tomorrow morning with us. It will be like the Yankees and Red Sox playing on the same team.
I am happy to be able to sleep until a normal hour for the first time in 10 years and happy to be able to get drunk on a weeknight.

hey Cowhead, I think this a big mistake and hope it doesn't turn and bite you on the ass, I really didn't care for you or your show when it first aired, I am a big fan of thebone.So decided to give you a chance and now I am a big fan of you and the crew, well accept perhaps LT, strange little man wouldn't get near the babe with boobs.
As for Bubba I am afraid he has weaseled his way onto thebone and your space.
I will continue to listen to the COWHEAD show when I can.
..You know I love all of you guys and everything about the show..But I am conflicted as to if this will all work out..I know you can make your new time slot just as successful as you did with the morning show...I'm just wondering, what will happen if the listeners deside they don't like Bubba??
..It's gonna be weird to have to change my listening habits, but I agree with your reasons for it being a good idea..
..I'm looking forward to what new ideas you come up with for the show..
